M3 Vs 5 Series (including M) and MB E550
Who would win out of all these cars. Today I saw the new MB E550 and thought it was really badass but never really learned anything about it......
and i would want to know if a 550 would beat a E550 |

All the cars mentioned are slower than the M3 and less capable in all the performance tests I've seen. But why compare the M3 to luxury sedans?

I do not know for which reason do you want to compare these cars? That the comparision should be just youy have to compare the 550i E60 with the E500/550 (EU/US) W220, the previous model. If you want to compare the new E500/550 (EU/US) W221, you have to wait for the next 550i F10. No doubt the next 5 série will win hands down, with its 4.4l V8 TT 407 hp, option xDrive and ActiveHybrid (555ih). The next 5 series will be a very strong rival, so that the E-Class will have dificulties. But if you wish here are the numbers, you can judge for yourself:
550i E60: 1835 kg, 4.8l V8 367 hp@6.300 tr/min, 490 Nm@3.400 tr/min, 0-100km/h: 5.2 sec, v-max: 250 km/h, (w/o limiter: >280 km/h) E500/550 W221: 1830 kg, 5.5l V8 388 hp@6.000 tr/min, 530 Nm@2.800-4.800, 0-100 km/h: 5.2 sec, v-max: 250 km/h. So they is not such a big difference, look at the torque I would say the BMW is sportier and the Mercedes is more comfortable. But the next 550i F10 will be even more sporty and more comfortable than the Mercedes. 550i F10: <1850 kg, 4.4l V8 TT 407 hp@5.500-6.400 tr/min, 600 Nm@1750-4.500 tr/min, 0-100 km/h: <5.0 sec, v-max: 250 km/h (w/o limiter: >290 km/h) I can't wait for the next 5 series yet it will look very good.
