Angel Eyes - New OSS Designs install

After having AngeliBright LEDs and then a Xenon kit I made the ultimate upgrade to OSS Design daylight running lights consisting of full blackout (recoating of all chrome to a matte black finish) 10 watt LED turn signal indicators to remove that egg yolk effect of a standard bulb and V4 microprocessor controlled LED rings that are bonded to the original rings to give ultra-high brightness and a clear consistent light output

This is a major upgrade and requires a lot of effort as the headlights have to be removed for complete modification.

The only place to send the lights is OSS Designs in Miami, Florida USA. You really want to be keen to do this, but if you do the reward is worth all the effort. IMO this mod is one of the most dramatic changes to the appearance whether the car is stock or fully loaded.
The front bumper bar and guard liners have to be removed (guard liners can be pulled back instead) to access the lights, and then the lights removed from the frame. This takes around 2 hours and is tedious.

In my case for this mod I used this as an excuse to visit Luis Duran at OSS Designs (as well as the crew at Gintani in California) on a recent trip to USA and hand delivered the lights. Luis is an extremely helpful and made sure everything was done in 3 days and prior to that made sure everything was scheduled in for the visit

The rings themselves are a series of white (6000K) LEDs which are tightly segmented. The OEM system consists of a light pipe and relies on the conducting effect of the pipe to reflect the light around the rings. This results in some hot and cold spots where there are some areas that flare and others that look to have darker gaps. Because one light source is used per headlight (a 35watt H8 lamp) the outer rings are further away from the light and always duller than the inner rings.

OSS Designs totally solves this by the bonded LED arrays which are of perfect consistency at any angle or in any light. Because they are all front facing LEDS the highest light output is achieved and is the same principal as used on the Audi R8.

The final effect is stunning and gives a sensational daylight running light set up and the removal of all that OEM chrome is something I think finishes the front of the car really well and makes it look even more aggressive.

Hope you enjoy the share… Consequently I have FS AngeliBright (V3) LED angel eyes and also a full HID Kit with ballasts FS, if interested please PM me, or if I can help get you in touch with Luis let me know.
Next project Stage 2 Gintani Supercharger in a few weeks, as soon as the new manifolds start coming into production… can’t wait.

Outstanding I would think. Luis has some pics of AW M3's with the lights.
It's a major improvement to any color.

Mate, these two have some sort of 'eyelid' thing going on. Looks very DTM with the U shaped halos.

Do you know whether they're a carbon addon or something Luis did?

That second car is murdered out, looks like the batmobile!!

Yeah, you can just about get any finish now, Luis is attached to a custom panel shop so they are doing carbon, eyelids, extra LED dots and all sorts of other exotics. Could have but I wanted to keep the E9x look but increase the aggressiveness with the blackout and LED turn signal, you know like I did with the BBS wheels.

Here are some other variations Luis does... except one I had to throw in for fun

The top right photo compares the V2 (left) to the V4. I haven't seen the V4 but Luis tells me they are substantially brighter and don't look as beaded
