Hi

Saw this offer on the BMW website:
http://www.bmw.co.uk/bmwuk/pricesand...bodyID=M3_CA08

wondering what u guys thought of it, also it says that the car has to be registered by the 30th september 2009 does that mean the car will be a 09 or a 59 when it will be eventually delivered???

It's a pretty standard deal I guess.... nothing super special.

If the car is registered after Sept it'll be a 59 plate.

If it's before it'll be an 09 plate.

If you order now delivery would be between 1st and 30th September I presume based on built to order lead times.

sounds like a good deal, BMW are doing some good deals on the M3 over the recent months.

Leasing has pro's and con's - I have purchased many cars over the years but have leased my last four and it has worked out great for me.

Doubtful you could buy that car on a pcp for anywhere near that monthly figure.

The "dealer desperate to sell a car" boat has sailed...

It's swung round to demand greater than supply now so negotiating a serious bargain will be tricky no doubt (maybe impossible?) !

Not sure if there is one in Oxford but there is a great one down the road in High Wycombe and another great one in Coventry (talk to Tristan if you go there). Dealer doesn't have to be local, they just have to be good.

Sounds like they had specific stock from which to get your car. Mine was a new order, to my exact spec so no issues.

Bear in mind that this is only for business users only which I assume you already know. VAT registered. I did checked a long while ago (offers since last year), and at the end of the 3 years; you would be basically handing the car back without any option to extend to another car.

Mine was spec'd to how I wanted it and whilst I was waiting for delivery the lease deal was offered by BMW. My business manager re-prop'd it and I changed from a PCP to the lease deal as the monthly payments were cheaper and if you added on the saving of road tax (another £400 per year) I was miles better off.

Even though it says business only, it is defo possible to do privately 'cos I have! I run my own business but the car was leased privately and the business not mentioned.

Neil.
Sytner Birmingham offered me 8% without me haggling so there must be better to be had on a factory order.
I am trying to decide what I want as my second car.

My car for work is a E90 325 Sport 100k on the clock and counting.

I really dont want to stray to the dark side 911 or GTR, white M3 DCT is probably ideal for me with the kids.

Similiar situation, I've got an E61 that I use as a mile muncher and also I race model cars so need a big boot.

On discounts, Yup you are right:

I got 10.6% plus free running in service on a AW/Black M3 Coupe.

Includes delivery and Road Tax from Sytner Coventry.

Sytner Coventry, esp Tristan, have pulled out all the stops for me, they where trying to find me a nearly new 09 model car with the new Hard Drive sat nav with DCT but there aren't many of them about so he came back to me with this deal on a new one. Which was 3.5K more than I was going to pay for a nearly new one so I was quite happy. I suspect you might get more if you are trading in or taking finance but I paid cash for mine.

Fully loaded spec except for full beam control, comfort access and rear window blind. Oh and L7 audio as its easier to upgrade if you so chose.

Pick it up Saturday hopefully, car arrived in Thorne yesterday.

Regards,
Neil.
