I know it doesn't include the E92 M3 but still very impressed with the M4. Beaten only by the GTR nismo and Porsche 911 Turbo S but that was expected. What I didn't expect was the Jaguar to also beat it! I8 was also impressive.

not a big surprise that the Jag beat it - it's a 550hp supercharged V8 sports car. the bigger surprise to me is that the M4 beat the Z/28 despite getting a bad launch. with its thicker rubber and more powerful engine, I expected the Z/28 to win. no doubt the DCT probably made the difference and a 6MT M4 would have fallen slightly behind.

I8 is badass. Too bad it's ridiculously expensive

I would have loved it if motortrend switched to a half mile format. Help increase the deltas a bit.

No surprises the 911 and GTR were pulling way ahead of the field.

Suprised the i8 actually stayed with the M4 for a big part of the race. Took the M4 a longggg time to pull on it.

Jag is very heavy though.

You can tell the DCT was what did it for the M4 with LC, from a roll they'd be very close based on trap speeds, both 117.X.

The deltas would have been nice to see at this milestone, and they would have shown the 911 and GTR just gaining monumental amounts over what they aready did.

What's even more amazing is that this is a 7 year old GTR platform still smoking brand new cars. I can't even imagine what the new R36 platform GTR will be doing!!!!!

Tbh, the effort would be better spent making it not look like ass, but that's just one man's opinion.
