Fingers crossed they'll add a MT option shortly. I would definitely replace my M3 with one of these.

The concept was very attractive and this one remains very faithful to that. And retains its very shapely attractive silhouette.

It is cheaper. The F-Type R coupe will be significantly more expensive than the F-type V8 S though..

This car is so beautiful!

Of course it won't look as good; the concept doesn't have to worry about things like interior volume, engineering hardpoints, and even trunk lines for christ's sake. Half the reason that the concept looks better from the rear is the fact that they didn't have to work around a trunk which would break the paneling up quite a bit (not to mention the lack of a CHMSL at the top of the rear window).

You could take most modern cars, remove their panel gaps and trunk openings and squash their roof a bit, and they'd look sleeker. I'm fucking impressed with this overall production result.
Assuming this is referring to me, don't get me wrong. Jaguar NAILED the F type coupe, it is 99% of the concept. Looking at the next gen Subaru WRX compared to its concept car, I can honestly say that Jaguar sticks to their concept design language incredibly well. I was just nit picking because the rest of the car was dead on with the concept, I thought that they would've included the concept's roofline. But after looking at this angle, I seem to have spoken too soon. Perfection

$7000 isn't that much more for such a beautiful car.

That's true, also the fact that when you're dealing with that kind of money to start with, nothing is really too expensive hehe.
