I installed my innotech axle back yesterday too. I have the stock x pipe and is too quiet for me (as I thought). I was planning on waiting until Warr expires in Spring to go with turner test pipes... must resist!

This video made me LOL. Mike and I had the same reaction when we first fired up his car 6 months ago.

I wish there was a sound clip that accurately captured how FREAKEN loud that is... congrats on the system. I love mine! Did you get the Auto function to work?

The rear section was too mute for me too... at least from inside the car. Outside the car, it actually sounds okay, but it made me get the full system to hear the whole system from inside. Then it was loud, because of the stinky no cat smell, I put on the Magnaflow HF cats, which made it just right....

First impressions: Valves closed reminds me of my Akra + Gintani, Valves open reminds me of my AA + Gintani (ok maybe a little louder than AA). Vid was a cold start. I will this weekend make some videos!

I have mine set up for Auto and it works. It is set up pretty agressive, aprrox 5200 rpm and 60% throttle. I will turn the dials back a bit when I get a chance.

Guys,

Make very small adjustments if you're going to play with the settings!

If I get a change I will look at this weekend. When I go out this aft I will confirm rpm and guess throttle %. Shop that installed tucked everything under the left rear part of the hood (fuse panel?).

System Ready

Guys - got the full system on the car today can't wait to get home to try it.

First one in Aus I think.

The mechanic said it sounds like a v8 supercar i.e. bloody loud ! Think I will be driving around with the valve closed except at the track or in the country...

UsurbrainM3 - sorry if this is a stupid question but how did you install the HFC's in your system ? cut and weld ?

I have also got the Afe pulley installed at the same time as the CAI and scoops and the matt black 359 wheels (on AW car),

Needless to say i'm hoping for a bit of power increase...

Congrats on the system! You will enjoy it. Yes cut and weld. It will quiet the system down quite dramatically though. So it's either the stink or the sound. You choose!!!!

Thanks - think HFCs are the way forward for me. The exhaust on loud mode is too much... That said I love it with the valve closed !!
