So now that the ExpressLane stuff has been rolled out, we're not barred from using the HOV lane (on 110 and 10 at for now) unless we have one of the new transponders. But part of the process also involves having your picture taken.

So the question is... is the system smart enough to grab your rear plate too? And in that thread, are people with no front plates going to be getting tickets?

Debating if it's worth using the HOV lane at the moment.

No front plates here in NorCal. No issues so far
