There are documented failures of all clip on Vanos cover solutions. Including them in a prepackaged kit and putting your name on said kit seems like a unnecessary risk. Since the Plenum has to be removed in this kit, why not include a pair of throttle actuators?

Out of the hundreds of genuine Slon kits we've sold, we've not had a single reported failure or loosening. As long as the install is done properly to make sure the covers are clipped on all around, there should be no issues, which is why the OE covers utilize the same fastening method.

The only issue we've seen was a single cover that had a tolerance issue during install, which was replaced under warranty. We can only report on our first hand experience vs the "I heard from a guy who heard from a guy who told them privately.."

I heard from a few who created a thread and posted photos on this forum. OEM covers are not secured in this way at all.

Best of luck, I was just saying I think it’s an unnecessary risk to sell the product in my opinion.
