No sarcasm intended.

Just saw this car in person @ PCH

Pics dont do justice to the paint texture/quality. looked a bit more like matte silverstone, I didn't think the red accents were overkill, its actually a bit cool when I saw it because the red was gloss and was sort of contradicting the matte paint.

Kind of like the red is glowing, almost tron-ish.
Just my .02cents. I like it, especially the exhaust note

he can leave some of the red, just at this point too much is exposed in my honest opinion.

Just a little work & it will look fine. Reflectors, rear bumper, shark fin, door handles, and hood grills have to get wrapped, the rest is cool, at least hes different.

OP's M3 is easily one of the top 5 ugliest M3s. And if the OP was driving at the Forum Wars competition, I don't want to know the outcome.

Haha, he's so famous that he needs to advertise online and on his/his parent's car.

The matt colour / wheels combo is great. I can udnerstand having the large stickers over the car for the sake of sponsorship. Just remove the red Kidney's atleast and the rear diffuser and it will look much better.

Okay, so here is what is happening. I have already had a photoshoot with this car done, but after a LOT of feedback, I have decided to change the car a little bit. 95% of people like the matte silver and the rims. I had some modifications that I wanted done to the car prior to "The Forum Wars", and I will have the money soon, so I will do it all together. I have decided to get matte black kidney grills. Color the reflectors, headlight sprayers, mirrors, sharkfin, spoiler, and rear fender matte silver with the rest of the car. Only leaving the hoodvents and possibly the side grills red. I will be adding a GT2 style wing, and adding a more aggressive stance to the car. And once I get the money, a rear diffuser. And all of the decals will be pulled off the car.

I really liked the red at first, but it seemed to get old, pretty damn fast. (And yes, it does look better in person, but still.

Look the guy obviously liked the way it looked before. The only reason he changed it in my mind is because of what others thought of it. And in my opinion is quite sad.

Sounds good. I actually liked the red difuser and mirrors. I Agree that the grille willl look better in black and the reflectors, headlight sprayers, sharkfin, and spoiler will look better in body color.

Have you seen Martin D's car (by IND)? Looks real good with the red wheels. You might want to try that look as well.

His car looks f**king AMAZING. I'm not going to d othe red wheels (I've been down that road with a different car), but I would take that car any day. Its 100% perfect besides the seats (he needs race seats not tuner seats).

I think the OP deserves respect giving that he took our comments and advice. Not many people would do that. So respect to you Drake. All the best to you and your build.

I don't think its sad that he did the changes after he read our comments. At the end of the day people that chose to own an M3 are people with good taste . and im sure he trusts your opinion.

glad to hear you've taken the criticism in stride. though i think a lot of people on this board could have been more constructive in giving their advice, rather than getting completely insulting (which is uncalled for)... i think the overall advice was given with good intent - to help you make fine adjustments that will really set this car off.

i agree with most that by removing just a few of the red accents your car will look mean. looking forward to seeing your photos after you've made the changes.

Respect to OP for taking the criticism well. Hope to see the finished product soon and maybe you could bring it out to the 626 meet for us to see it in person.
