I have this tint and it is awesome. Really keeps the heat out nicely esp when it was hitting triple digits here last wk. Guys at Premier are also very prof and takes their work to a whole new level, which is what I like. Very satisfied w/ them and I've had my 6th car worked on by them along w/ several co-workers. All love the tint and the clear bra they do.

1. 94% of infrared rejection vs. Ceramics at 75%-80%
2. 99.5% of uv blockage
3. The product consists of 0% metal substrates vs. multiply metallized ceramics.
4. the film will not affect comfort access (or the equivalent of keyless entry), am / fm, radar, etc.

I've had 3 E90 M3s wrapped with the 3M film (front bumper, hood, quarter panels, rockers, rear wheel arch and small part of the rear bumper). Excellent work, very friendly and extremely professional.

I'd like to see the temperature reduction stats of this film compared against huper optik film.

Many have asked us how the product compares to ceramic tint. Here, we have a popular 50% ceramic tint to be compared to Diamond Cut IR 50%.

Have a timer along with a commercial heat lamp spaced just 1 ft from the test area. :

We started with a cool 67 degrees on the surface

Heat lamp measures in at over 400 degrees Fahrenheit

With a heat lamp running at 400+ degrees, here are the results:

Ceramic (tint to the right side) - 2 minutes 52 seconds, temperature rises from 67 degrees to 80 degrees

Diamond Cut (tint to the left side) - 3 minutes 1 second, temperature rises from 67 degrees to 71 degrees

***9 degree improvement

Ceramic Tint - 50% - 8 Minutes 44 seconds, temperature reaches 88 degrees

Diamond Cut IR - 50% - 8 Minutes 57 seconds, temperature reaches 76 degrees

****12 degree difference

I appreciate that you compared these against "ceramic tint." But Huper Optik is well known for having higher heat reduction than normal ceramics. I was hoping to see a direct comparison to Huper Optik, and not just a generic ceramic tint.

We prefer not to name names when it comes to comparison purposes. Since it is requested after we posted this, the product is by Huper Optic that is used for comparing the two.

Diamond Cut IR™ is also available for those not within our service area. We are shipping globally. You would just need to source out an excellent installer to apply this product.

Can you guys post the total solar energy rejected specs for the Diamond Cut IR? That seems to be the industry standard for heat rejection performance.

Most certainly. Depending on the shade, TSER can go beyond 80%.

I'm shocked. 5% Pinnacle F1 is only 65% TSER. How does that compare to Huper?
