Need tire recommendations

Hey guys, I need people to recommend good cheap tires. I am planning to track my car and I need some good tires for both the street and the track and within the $1000 range. I was thinking either a set of Nitto NT05s, Hankook RS-3s, Hankoo V12s or Continental ExtremeContact DW. If you have any recommendations on others tires please let me know.

Well, if you plan to track your car, why not put proper tires on it that are intended for the task. I like GForce BFG R1s, 275X35X18 on 10" Apex rims. Car will stick and provide very good feed back. Just my preference, and, you ask.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

NT05s and RS3s are great tires, but won't last long. The V12s are great for everyday driving and the occasional track day
