Arrow POLL: Next Track Day. Please Vote.

Alright gents/gals-

We have two proposed track dates. 10/29 or 11/19. Both are Saturdays. These will be the final dates for 2011 season.

Please vote above and indicate whether you plan to attend.

For 10/29-
We will have 2 run groups. B group in the morning (9-1), A group in the afternoon (1-5). This is due to a motorcycle event which will take up the top of the hour. M Club, and M Club alone will run at the bottom of the hour.

This format will also give us the opportunity to do some classroom/coaching between sessions.

For 11/19
Please ignore the 11/19 date. There is an event sponsored by BMWCCA at TWS.

Sunday AM would work pretty well. It would be nice if we could plan out several events now that the weather is so nice.

I'm not sure if I'm ready/interested in the CCA/DE stuff yet but I'm interested to learn more about it. I really enjoy the causal format that we have at MSR.

I'm in your camp on this one......our format is really casual and fun. I think too much structure at this point would take away from the day. I know there are a few guys that would like some additional instruction but I think our resident instructors do a great job. Plus if we want some additional challenge at this point, we can run CCW........Phil

Last time, due to the lower than expected turnout, the track allowed us to cut out a few cost items (i.e. corner workers and flatbed tow truck), and we barely broke even with 26.

So, we can do exactly 26 people, or, if we go above that number, we will need 35.

Well then let's all take a day off work and work on our track skills . I heard the MOD bug was active and the only cure is a track session.........Phil

Join and let me come as your guest! I'll even bring my torque wrench!

Weekends are probably easier for everyone for the main events though.

Too what??

FJ do you think the supercharged crowd could hit 150 at TWS??

I'm out for this one, guys (wait - don't I always say this??) My tires are shot and we've got several other things going on that needs that tire money.

Scratch that. Try this..
My poor defenseless Pilot Super Sport's have suffered under the hand of a relentless driver, inadequate spring rate, and minuscule camber situation. Only you can help. Paypal your donation now.

Please paypal your donation to jcreme at hotmail.com to save these once-proud and technologically advanced treads from suffering a blistered and threadbare demise. You are their only hope. We are only a few thousand dollars away from our goal for a peaceful existence for these abused soles. For just the cost of a Quiznos sandwich a day, you can allay this tortured existence. Paypal is standing by. Don't let this needless suffering go on.

I would hate to be thought of as an "enabler" to your problem. If we get you new tires, do you promise not to abuse them? I thought so... Only YOU [pointy finger] can prevent tire abuse!

The first step, of course, is to admit that you have a problem.

Top speed on the track isn't the concern - It's shutting it back down in time..

I might come out there - It just depends..

Says the guy who lifted his brakes off a jumbo jet??

TWS is really really fun. Elevation changes and cambered turns are yummy!

JJ I've got a vid from there floating around. If you can't find it, I think I can. The Little Car That Could hit 132 I think. Yeeeeee-haw!
