I agree that it can get boring very quickly... Glad you’re being bold... But are you sure you looked at all the options regarding a PSW... IMO I don’t like the wheel either, however I do like everything else about your build 4 sure...

I've seen the various versions. The electronic gadgetry doesn't do anything for me. The colored ring doesn't either. And it doesn't look that thick. I had a DCT wheel on my mercedes and liked it. I also liked its thickness so went that route again.

Sorry, didn't mean to tell you not to do it and telling you I liked everything else was a compliment. As you stated, modding is all about personalizing your car to YOUR tastes, not others. Beautiful build man and happy to have it on the local streets!

I don't think I said anywhere I wasn't going to do it. I'm actually getting the wheel put on tomorrow. While I respect others' opinions, they don't sway me in what I want to do to my car or anything else in my life. And I feel others should approach life the same way. Do what you like, not what others want you to do

Well said. Your car is one of my favorite build. Keep up the work and personalize it how you like it! At the end of the day, it's your car, your money, and your enjoyment.

[QUOTE=tbone28;13365666]Got this little update from Challenge. They got these in today and are out for clear coat. Will I have one soon?

Looking forward to seeing your car sporting that awesome diffuser...quick question, so what's the importance on clear coating the diffuser (first time I've heard of someone doing that)?

Pretty much all CF products have a protective coat on them, be it clear, matte, satin, etc to protect the raw carbon fiber. e.g the carbon fiber roof on our cars is clear coated.

It's one of those changes that are so subtle that can only be appreciated in person. And in photos, only a real photographer, unlike myself, would be able to capture it well and do it any justice.

What kind of suspension setup are you running? It looks like KW Sleeves/Coils with Swift springs? Can I ask why you went with this setup?

I'm running KW V3 with GC camber plates and Swift 10kg springs up front. I wanted to run a linear, firm spring up front and go a tad lower than what the KW spring allows for up front.

Just checking in on the latest. The pic in #314 of your dash all apart is crazy. There have been times I've contemplated doing that just to hunt down buzzing rattles.

Keep the posts coming - looking really good!

It's a DCT Motorsports wheel. They will make whatever design you want.
