No, it's been years (I'm guessing 5+) since rings were needed for te37's.

I bought a set of 18" TE37's in March or April of '13 and did not need rings.

Spoke to another vendor and it was stated the og te37 do require rings..strange

Maybe I was just unlucky. Even if they aren't hub centric, rings are a quick fix.

Edit: misread your post but still rings aren't a big deal.

I have OG TEs and they required very thin rings. I got them used so not sure of the manufacture date.
