Truck + Trailer + 8.5 sec. 1/4 mile Buick GN Stolen

Fellas,

Being that this is a BMW related board, I'm not expecting anyone to reach out and provide info on my friend's missing setup, but it can't hurt.

On Sunday morning (Saturday late night), my friend's Ford F250 Supercab truck, open trailer and 8.5 second 1/4 mile Buick Grand National was stolen from a hotel parking lot in Bowling Green Kentucky.

I can't even BEGIN to tell you the amount of work and parts that went into this car. I remember dropping him off at the previous owner's house to pick it up (bone stock) in 1997. Ever since then, he hasn't stopped working on it. It's depressing to see something that someone is so passionate about have it all come to an abrupt end because of some scum bag thief.

As I have been following the threads on other boards, it's disturbing to see that this kind of thing happens often. So if anything, take from this thread as a wake up call to keep an eye out on your ride as well as others. These thieves go to these track events and scope you out.

If interested, you can follow the details here:

That sucks,
The Ford should pop up sooner or later assuming it is a late model.

do you have any info on the Grand National, I still have one and I still go to some turbo Buick stuff from time to time.
Unfortunately the BGN is so easy to re vin and disappear forever

The pickup was a 1997.

Not off the top of my head. He's always at that main Buick event in Bowling Green. He goes by Billy T. He's known in the community.
