the video doesn't do justice!! saw m5board do a video of the x5m vs 2010 RR SC - not a magazine racer but official times for 0~60 for a 2010 range rover sc is 5.9, and the x5m is a sub 4 second car...
Anyhow the x5m is a much more tamed beast for hwy cruising a lot quieter inside than my m3 but just amazes me how much power it has in a suv. The torque vectoring also does wonders for the heavy beast. I still have the m3 but just have options now w/ the x5m

Is there a rain date? Forecast shows low 50s and possible rain (yea I know its still early, but just curious).
Plus its looking less and less likely that I'll actually be able to make it

Sorry guys, the meeting point is in Middleburg, VA. Where exactly? I'm still working on that. The issue is that there's only one parking lot big enough for us to fit in. I'm working on confirming if we'll be allowed to meet there, if not, we may just have to park along the street. I'll let you know as soon as I know. And as soon as I know, I'll post the finalized route map.

Typically wouldn't mind a little rain but the cold and damp combo would not be good for a spirited run...especially on summer tires.. |

We'll bump it back to Sunday if there's a 80% or more chance of rain. Anything less than that and it's still on. Why? There was a 60-70% chance of rain on Skyline Run IV. It never rained, it was just really cloudy. But 30 minutes into the run the sky cleared and it was perfectly beautiful for the rest of the day. A lot of people missed out on probably the best Skyline Run because they thought it was going to rain.
