There should be 4 people who have received or are about to receive their kits.

I'll update as soon as more get completed!

Just got mine today, order #4, and will hopefully have them installed tomorrow.

Does anyone know what the name of the app is to control the RGB angel eyes and demon eyes?

Where did you get your lights installed? How did the fitment turnout and were there any issues? I’m on the fence about installing the headlights myself or taking them to a professional shop. Also, +1 on posting some pictures! We want to see the end result as we wait patiently lol

I'm not part of the group buy but I did just install my headlights a few weeks ago. I was thinking about taking it somewhere but found enough threads and videos to feel comfortable enough doing it myself. It was actually much easier than I thought with the exception of a few screws but would've been easier if I had the right size wrench (8mm).

https://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1152372

It was my first time removing the front bumper which is the most time consuming part but still not that bad. Didn't have any issues at all and fitment was spot on. Took a lot of pictures before I started so I can compare once I got the new headlights in. Posted a couple pics of the final product, think it's on page 13 of this thread. If you can get your car lifted safely, have the right tools and feel comfortable working on your car, it's a pretty straight forward job.

I made a day of it, did some extra cleaning in places I usually don't reach and washed down my wheels inside and out. Good luck, you're going to love the new look!

Got mine installed today - 2009 335i coupe, standard rgb halos, honeycomb etching, CBB 7k hids, dual demon eyes(or single if you don’t know what wire to plug in lol..) looking pretty good.. the Bluetooth app experience for the RGB halos and demon eyes wasn’t toooo difficult to comprehend, but a simple 1 pager of instructions wouldn’t be a terrible idea. Also, my mechanic didn’t know what the “extra” set of wires having off the back of the headlight was for.. after seeing that the Bluetooth only controlled one demon eye I realized the wires are to connect both headlights together(and to a single Bluetooth controller)

I’ll post some quick n dirty pics. And a screenshot of the app as it comes when you turn the ignition and Bluetooth on your phone on. I later labeled the three discoverables while trying to figure out why I was missing one(before I realized the wires on the headlights were to connect the demon eyes to each other, which is why the frontal pic only shows one demon eye)

On a side note — I’ll be mailing my cores back tomorrow. Kinda rushed the job and paid a little too much labor, but didn’t want the cores sitting for over a week in my possession.

I noticed one of the headlights is a little misaligned with the hood and the front bumper cover... so does the bumper have to removed again to realign the mounting points of the headlights? That would really suck having to yank the bumper off again.. especially since I goofed on not having the mechanic remove my old lip and install the new one.. I forgot the old lip was installed with nuts and bolts instead of self tapping screws... so the mofo bumper has to come off again :/
