I really don't understand why we don't see a lot more dedicated 335i builds. The N54 in particular is a fabulous platform. Probably due to a lot of owners deciding to make the jump to a M3 vice modding. I personally would like to see some more hi output N54s optimized for the track. Again, I love what you have done with yours!

Me personally if I had the n54 (I have an n55 in my 2011) I'd probably throw on an m3 wide body to fit more aggressive tires some nice super laps like up and go for the fftec turbo kits and track it often. I'm determined to make it out to buttonwillow some time early this year. First track day is on my birthday so I can't make it hahaha. 18th I'm trying to make it out

Wish I could agree. I specifically bought a 2010 E89 35i for the N54 but it's been at the dealer twice for fuel system issues. It's actually still there now, going on 10 days. I would love to start working on that car, but I'm afraid to pour money into it.

it's something about the earlier models. dont know why. safest bet n54s would have been the IS models i guess. a few of my buddies have those and havent really had issues

I think I would go into N54 modding knowing that I would need to upgrade the fuel system.
