All you need is the 2 big perforated pipe replacement .
Sounds just perfect for our cars without drone and it's loud enough ..

If you want I can help you with this mod. with pics and DIY videos ..

I appreciate the offer, already did the 2 pipe method. Had a Dinan for a while but it was pretty tame. Now it sounds like a damn Nascar though. haha

Wrong ! Check the connection pipes in the Helmholtz chambers nr: 1 & 2 .
This pipes will be replaced by a straight pipe with a bend for the height difference of the holes .
The Helmholtz chambers will not be functional anymore and your exhaust will drone like a mofo at low rpm's ..
the ACM mod only affects Chambers 3 and 4. not 1&2. therefore the heimholtz Chambers are left intact.

This is the ACM mod, highlighted in red. Chambers 1&2 are not modified and therefore remain functional.

Yes I know about ACM , but section 5 & 6 is out of function , by this the exhaust sound resonance and pressure is changed in the Helmholtz chambers and your exhaust will drone .

The Helmholtz chambers are a scientific method specific designed for anti-drone , don't mess with them .
I've done my Oem exhaust mod (2 big pipe replacement) by myself , and I performed the 2 big and all 4 pipes replacement + ACM .
I heard the 3 different methods , and my ears don't told me lies ...

Of course I understand perfectly , this 3 different mods are all about personal preference .

I can see how the pressure change would effect the efficiency of the Heimholtz Chambers but my ACM mod with test pipes didn't drone. So to some degree they were still functional. Understand I'm not disagreeing with you, but trying to clarify some information in this thread.

The drone degree tolerance depends of how sensitive your ears are ..

Loud is ok for some drivers , and drone too ...But let us talk after a drive from let us say 3 hours +
On the other hand , with only my 2 big pipe mod. when I drive through the Belgian Ardennes for hours in high rpm's . I'm glad I can step out of my car .
The Oem. exhaust mods can be quiet , but when we step on it...It's like holy shit !

Truth.

I have the M Performance V1 with a catless x-pipe and it's perfect! Loud when you want it, zero drone, and sounds exotic.

The MPE V1 ? Check for cracks my friend !
MPE sounds too hollow for me personally ,the hollow sound is typical for Titanium and Inconel .

Be carefull with a Inconel weld repair ! The MPE wall is really thin , and you can go through the wall in no time !
Advice : As for a Inconel weld repair , you need a weld specialist ...

I have a specialist that has 10 years experience with inconel steel, titanium and aluminum. I've seen his work and he knows what he's doing.

Most people who did the ACM mod pretty much bypassed the helmholtz chamber completely, that's why most people are confused about the ACM vs OEM mod.

The Turner exhaust is a glorified muffler delete. Next.

OP, where did you see that? I'm not finding any such muffler delete option from Turner on their website. Are you sure that's not a F10 M5 muffler delete setup you came across?
