Today he called me and left a message which and said: "Jamie, Jack here! I just spoke with distribution and I have some news and it is both good and bad. Give me a call when you get a chance." When I spoke to him he told me that I could not have a January build because there were no spots left, and I couldn't have a February build because there are no M3's being built in February. He basically told me that I am going to be getting a car built in March and it will be a MY2011. He said he was told that the Coupe and Convertible were getting some minor styling changes from March production. There will be no changes to the Sedan as far as styling goes however there may be some minor changes to available options and equipment. When I questioned Jack regarding the Comp Package he did not have any info on it for Coupe, Convertible, or Sedan however he would give me a call as soon as the MY2011 ordering guide came.

Hope this helps!

This doesn't change any info in my previous post (which I quoted above) with regards to MY2011 being from 03/10 build but my particular car now will be a MY2010. I expect an incentive be it either a larger discount or good rate for taking the 2010 car over the 2011. Since there are no styling changes scheduled for the sedan I don't mind taking the 2010..... However, if I were getting a coupe I would wait for a March build.
Jack called me on Monday to tell me that they can't do my car in January because it is an Individual order........ I am back to a March Build MY2011 Car yet again.

Jack said that distribution told him I will have the "FIRST" M3 MY2011 Sedan built for Canada!

Yes that is correct. The ordering guide for the LCI cars is not relesed yet. No one knows the actual content of cars built from 03/10 on.

BMRLVR, sounds like our cars will be cousins, if not twins. After seeing your first E90 in Moonstone (RIP) and Mixja's, I switched from Silverstone to Moonstone.

My 2010 E90 is currently in production with mid-February ETA: Moonstone / Silver Extended / Brushed Aluminum / Cold, Premium & Technology Pkgs. / M-DCT / 19".

Did you source the Moonstone paint from the dealer to paint your calipers? I'm thinking of getting my helmet painted to match ...

No my calipers are being painted by Brembo/Race Technologies so the finish will be warrantied. IND Facilitated the BBK In Moonstone for me. If you want to source some paint for your helmet contact Ilia@IND and he will mix some for you. Even better still send him your helmet and I am sure he will paint it for you.

BMRLVR - This is great news. Its looking like there will be MY2011 E90. My question is, did you get a actual production # that pulls up on the BMW site? And if so what does it say?

Any other info on the car? Would be crazy if your car came with a TT 6 engine...

Please Keep Us updated as soon as you get more info.

GL finding the car that you like on a existing inventory. BMW dealers barely have 2010's in their inventory.
