Yeah, I guess the guy that bought these wheels said he lived in an area with really rough road surfaces.
He wanted a meatier tire to add a little bit of comfort hence the hockey puck sized tires. They look sort of goofy but the wheels are gorgeous |

+1, 30 profile is fine for these wheels in 20"
35 is plenty for the 19s when I lived in Boston.
