Need help 06/08 production date AC belt routing

Just replaced my water pump, thermostat, belts, tensioners and pulleys. I am trying to get my AC belt on and I'm having problems with routing the belt. I looked at the 06-08 onwards belt diagram from active autoworks but my problem is my tensioner is so close to the power steering pump that if I put it on like that then the belt seems like it will rub. have been having problems getting it on there, which i read is a common problems, not sure if once its on there will be enough tension that it won't but been fighting with it for a while. any suggestions?
