Its just how you choose to spec the car - personally i prefer the matt look!!!

We'll be doing another Macht Schnell 15m/18mm setup in-house on Tuesday, we'll be sure to get pictures for reference.

Did you do any measurement or testing (with or without springs/shocks) to verify a completely no rub scenario with 15/18? I like the looks a lot but it seems to be cutting it awfully close.

To clarify, no testing was done with springs/shocks removed to test all suspension positions and all steering angles? The "clear fine" is purely based on experience? Again I like the look but it simply looks a bit too aggressive on the clearance side. Thanks.

There's not many suspension choices out there at the moment for the M3, but we have experience with the H&R Springs and KWV3 coilovers (which I'm using personally at a lower ride height), which most M3s have been equipped with when rolling in. To answer your question: Yes - all results are based on in-house experience and/or installations.

Would it not make sense to have same spacer width on front and rears for example 12 or 15mm all around. This way you keep the staggered distances the same between front and back. I did notice a difference in performance with running 15/10 front and rears. The difference I am feeling is when taking turns, the car rolls more than it used to before the spacers. They look amazing but I wonder if I should have gone wider in the back since I put 15mm in the front which may account for this difference I am feeling.
If ppl that bought 12 and 15mm feel no difference then I will have to chuck the 10's and purchase 12mm for the rears.

I would recommend either 12/15 or 15/18.

Can someone with experience please clarify which H&R springs they are using? I see people write "sport." When I look at the website there are 3 sports and one 1 race. Which ones are on the SG M3 with the 15/18 setup done at EAS?
I just figured it out. Under the M3 app on H&R website there is only one sport spring. What is a reasonable installation charge? I was quoted $650 for H&R sport springs + alignment + MS spacers installed (I supply the spacers). Reasonable?

The front can use a bit more spacing than the rear to get the wheels flush with the fenders. Going with a squared setup only exaggerates what is is already present.

To clarify, what Tom means is that with no spacers the rear wheel arch is better filled visually compared to the front. In part because of of the really large front fender flare. A staggered set up with spacers absolutely looks much better to balance the "filling" IMO. Well not just my opinion but most here seem to concur. Not sure why that wan't clear but it seems it wasn't.

Figured out my vibration problem. It was a horribly balanced wheel from a flat tire patch-up at Firestone. Cyrus at JC Autohouse fixed it up for me.
I love my car all over again. |

I Like 15/18 combo! Also if your drop your car on Eibachs or H&Rs it'll look perfect
