I get dumb remarks all the time.. Yesterday this guy at the gas station asked me if my "M6 had a 6 banger"... I said ya.. its dope.. (I have an M3..)

I have been going to the same Wendy's for the last week every day for dinner because I am obsessed with the spicy chicken ceasar salad. Every day it has been the same girl at the drive through, and she kinda flirts with me (says ohhh you like it spicy) and I see her stick her head out the window checking out the car as I pull away.

Today I dropped my card under the seat and had to pull out of the drive through and went in to get my meal. As I was leaving the girl says, "i love hearing your Mustang roar when you drive away"!!! Lol!

All I could think to say was thank you.

Younger guy at a car meet said "is that a 1 series?" I just replied " nope, 3". Then at the same meet same night as I was pulling out to leave, a guy asked " you have cams? cuz it sounds different" I think he thought I had a 335.

I was filling up at a gas station, when some stoner kid ~20 y/o got out of his Integra. Through his bloodshot eyes, he looked at my E90 M3, then up at me.

Stoner - "Niiiice... Vortech?"

Me - "Huh?!"

Stoner - "Vortech?"

Me - "Uh, no? It has a V8."

Stoner - "A V8? (pause)... Niice!" (Enters convenience store.)

I still don't know how I feel about this exchange, but I guess I should take it as a compliment.

I was stopped at a light in Newport Beach when a guy in his 20's (who seemed to be stoned out of his mind), was just about to walk across the cross walk in front of me says "nice car, it sounds awesome man"... (pause).. "please don't kill me". Before I could process what the hell he was talking about? My 10 year old son looks right at me and says loud enough so the guy can hear him and says "Do it dad, there is no place for stupid". I just said "thank you" and I laughed for the next 5 to 10 minutes. KIDS!!!!

Had the top down, stopped at a red light. Guy in a beater minivan pulls up next to me and says "thats a sweet ride man. How about i give you my car and a thousand bucks, for yours"
Just gave a slight chuckle (with a hint of disgust) and pulled away at the first sight of green afraid at what he might do next.
As i pulled away my wife looks at me and says " you're gonna get a big head with this car of yours"

I drive a 128i but my uncle let me borrow his E90 6MT M3 for a week while he was out of town.

I went to my old university to pick up my gf (at the time). I stop at a stop sign where 15 kids are waiting for the bus. I rev the engine a little, and then take off.
I looked in the rearview mirror and ten of them were out in the middle of the road watching me drive off. Very cool!

Went to PepBoys to buy a rattle can paint. As I was walking to the door a guy pulls in driving a 335i. I told him, Nice ride. He starting bragging and bragging and bragging and couldn't stop. I was yea yea yea. I bought the paint and head to my car. As I was pulling out the guy comes out from the store, sees me leaving on my car and.....I could see the look on his face, like I'm a jerk!!!! The guy felt bad but at least he is driving a 335i. Wasn't that bad.m it's funny to see all this guys talking and bragging until......the see you on an M3.

I recently picked up my 2011 E90 and the day after I drive it home, the lady and I stop to eat at a small Italian place in a shopping center. My friend who was meeting us drives an ISF, so we were both parked way out. As I get out of the car, a rugged older man approaches me and asked if my car was the "BMW Rooster" ... I gave him a weird look and said it's an M3. He then proceeded to tell me how he was going to fix up his Mustang to make it fast. It was a 96 V6 with 3 different color of body panels on it.

Drove through the length of Montana and Idaho a few days ago... Montana was full of slap jawed yokel stares and weird muttered comments, Idaho had a bunch of vagrent looking kids staring at it and high fiving?

Down here in AZ, people keep trying to race me in Camaros and Corvettes. And this deec looking gas station lady started hitting on me, and then asked me "what state Alberta was".

Where I live no-one bats an eye at a M, we have the highest concentration of BMW's in Canada.

This was after he made me aware that "this isn't the autobahn" when I told him I'm Norwegian. Never mind there's nothing even close to the autobahn in Norway. ;-)
