Corsa Exhaust

Honestly, It's somewhere in between the Eisenmann Race and Eisenmann Sport with regard to how it sounds. It's much lighter than Eisenmann though (and much cheaper).

NO DRONE. None. Absolutely None.

I have a feeling that it will sound perfect once I put a proper mid pipe on my car.

+1 for Corsa.

I've put them on 2 other cars in the past and loved the quality and sound. As you said, they are cheaper than comparable brands. So, you have put the exhaust on?

It's installed...and terrorizing all tunnels/parking garages in my path. I love it.

I have the Corsa exhaust, when it was sold through UUC. I love the exhaust note. I think that it can be a little loeder, but I really can't complain. I'm about to put test pipes from ESS on a stock x-pipes. So hopefully, it will get a little louder and will growl a little more.

Here's how it sounds in tunnels/my parking garage at work.

Glad to see another company take the acoustic tuning portion of it seriously. Nothing screams of cheap design more than drone.

It's interesting. They have a resonator built into this exhaust section. The pipe that shoots off of the side into the muffler section is what I believe is a helmholtz chamber which is there to counteract exhaust drone. So they take multiple steps at combating drone and damn they nailed it, long and hard, they nailed it.

Cool, glad you like the Corsa! Yeah, you gotta respect the effort put in to eliminate drone. I'm one of the few that actually like the tips. The cans are easily taken care of with a little paint. What's next, Dinan midpipe?

Awesome pic, thanks for sharing. I'm adding this to the short list of exhausts I'd ever want for this car: Borla, Corsa, and MPE.

Can anyone with a Corsa comment on the amount of bass the system has, especially at lower rpms and during cold start?

I'm considering a Dinan system as well and wanted to compare the amount of bass they both have a low rpms.

For reference, I consider the Akra slip-on to have a LOT of low rpm bass and want to avoid this. To date, the MPE is the one exhaust (aside from the stock unit) without much bass.

The Corsa is just a little deeper sounding than the MPE but doesn't sound louder at idle, just deeper but still drone free. In comparison, it has a different character which is just hard to describe. I thought it was a little louder than the MPE only when accelerating.

The MPE has the least bass. Dinan has about as much as the Akrapovic - they're very close. Corsa has less, but more than the MPE.

I bought my Exhaust from Denk.

I can't believe it's on the cheaper end of the exhausts, there isn't a single solitary compromise. Had I gotten this first, I wouldn't have shopped further.

I've got the Corsa combined with the macht schnell midpipe. It is loud and even though there is a slight drone at certain rpm's you can still have a convo in the car. The coolest thing is when I'm cruising in 7th at 65mph it's like someone pressed a mute button for the exhaust. Absolutely silent lol. The only complaint I have is the fart sound the exhaust makes with the DCT when changing gears around town.

I'm going for a Dinan mid pipe. Still debating on which tune to combine it with.

How does the Corsa compare to the Borla S-Type? Turner Motorsports is local to me and sells both.

I rode in a catless xpipe/borla setup a few weekends ago. That did not drone either, I still heavily prefer Corsa.

Find a used Corsa for like $800-$1,000 less than new though. I picked mine up for $950 (local hookup).
