Regarding wheels that clear the stoptech 380mm BBK. the APEX ARC-8 wheel was spec'ed specifically to clear the stoptech 380mm kit, it was a must in the design.

They're flow-formed, light-weight wheels, designed for the needs of track enthusiests. The 18x9.5" et35 wheel is 18.85lbs and the 18x10" et25 wheel is 19.95lbs.

We haven't had a chance to test it over a Brembo kit. Stoptech provides really good 2d profile drawings so we could check on paper that it would have proper fitment, but Brembo only gives you A,B,C,D figures so it's up in the air. I have a feeling it won't clear. But the Stoptech's definitely do.

For the same 380mm kit, the brembo monoblock calipers requires an additional 10mm of clearance. 18" wheels will most likely be too small.

Just wanted to report that...

after half a year of owning the ST BBK and 5 track days, these brakes have performed extremely well.

I drive in advanced solo and the BBK has been very consistent. No fade, no vibration, and no pad knock-back.

The best thing is, I am using the StopTech Street Sport pads, which work on the street just as well, so no pad change at all!

Excellent performance, complete bolt-on plug and play kit, thousands less than the competition...

I would highly recommend this kit to all track enthusiasts.

That's great to hear that you can use those pads on the track. Not having to change pads before and after track days is probably worth the price of the upgrade in itself. Do they squeal at all?

I think I'm going to pull the trigger on this kit. Thanks rldzhao for the write-up. In your install write-up you mentioned that you replaced some nuts and bolts. Specifically were those the caliper bolts and the rotor retaining bolts?

I've searched, but couldn't find any definitive results - does anybody know the factory torque specs for the caliper bolts and rotor retaining bolts? Thanks.

Caliper bracket bolts that hold the bracket onto the front steering knuckle - 18mm head - torque to 90 ft-lbs.

The rotor retaining bolts are only there to keep the rotor from falling off when there's no wheel in place - 7 or 8 ft-lbs is all that's needed. I recommend an anti-sieze compound on these as well so they don't freeze in place.

16 NM on the brake disc to hub screw

65 NM for the rear caliper bracket to wheel carrier bolt

110 NM for the front caliper bracket to wheel carrier bolt

Probably only need to replace the caliper bracket bolts. See attached files for torque specs.

Just wanted to update everyone on the kit.

I've had about 10 track days on the BBK using the Street Sport pads. Car's been driven by friends, professional racers, and me. Everyone's very happy with the bite and consistency of these brakes.

I am still on my first set of pads, and they have about 5 mm left on the front. Rear has a lot more.
