Some of us lost a little faith after the SMG experience... Although the DCT is light years better... For me I just love a MT in my weekend cars... I have the Benz AT for my daily pleasures..

Am I the only one who wants to have both?

Some days, I'm perfectly happy with my DCT.
Some days, I wish I had chosen a MT.

I am actually considering to buy a MT E90 now when the prices getting low... but then my salary reminds me of that I should be driving a Yugo.

There will always be people who drive MT that will spout off saying DCT guys can't drive worth a shit, and there will always be DCT guys saying stupid shit like Patron in this thread about Grey Poupon and people supposedly "not being able to afford DCT". Now I see how wars get started. It sounds like Donald Trump has an automatic M3? Seriously though I agree with posters most of us should find the common bonds between us but I'm shocked at how many times people whip out the "you can't afford" card. Don't see it as often in 1 or 2 series forums. Sorry to burst you bubble but affording has nothing to do with it but if it makes you feel superior to think that go ahead. Some people are not buying M cars for track times, the spend 99% of the time on public roads where the speed limit is 65 max and a manual is more engaging and fun playing around the street. Why are manual ferraris worth more than the same year automatics? Is it because collectors can't afford a cheaper automatic version?
Why is e46 M3 manual sought after and SMG ones forgotten or converted to manuals?

Seriously man. Just stop and think a bit.

Honestly I'm playing on the hate when manual guys make fun of the dcts, it's usually the response 'don't know how to drive or aren't an enthusiast' it's so horribly dumb, the afford comment is the dumbest one I could think of .

It's as dumb as people hating on verbs. Who cares if someone chooses a vert, it's their car. Etc....
