I think it's kind of neat, but according to my girlfriend sitting next to me, "station wagons are for *******".

Wagons look awesome with a low stance and near SUV cargo space. The BMW GTs are fugly. Nobody should buy them.

My question is, why not? I'd pick an M3 wagon over a sedan and vert for sure.
I dont know that just slapping in the s65 and a dct and some body panels will make it perform like an m3. Isnt the suspension still from a 335i?

I would like to see an e90 m3 get converted to the wagon. Now THAT would be beast.

M SUVs just dont cut it, 5 series GT should never have been created, just come out with a M5 touring instead... also bring more of those diesels over here especially the M550d touring. And stop suggesting cts-v wagon.. cant really respect american cars just not the same feel as German muscle. Overall the appeal of an M touring is that the police look out for sports cars & in the meantime I can drive a grocery getter that handles & performs like a sports car & is still functional from race track to hauling my dogs, while majority of the time they radar\lidar sportier cars. Doesnt mean i wouldnt have a normal M3 at the same time

This isn't even debatable.

I would take my SUV X5 over a low to the ground touring M3 car any day of the week. First of all the touring car M3 RWD car would suck ass in the snow and I wouldn't even drive it here in the Maine or Alaska Winters. It is too much of a "Pussy" car for this type of Winter where the X5 AWD with all snow or all rain tires shines plus its high and you can plow over things where my M3 inches or crawls over things and is horrible in the snow/ice. To me its a "fad" and folks like it because we can't get it here in the US. That's why we don't see it in the US because it would have epic fail sales rates just like an E89 Z4MC. Upper BMW management said it would not sell just like something like this, even though we all said we would buy one on the forums.

There would be absolutely no reason for me to own one. I have an SUV for snow/ice duty and an E92 M3 for the streets and dry weather. No room for a RWD hatchback sedan.

Love it. Doubt it'll happen though.

I'm sure BMW will at least create an ///M performance tourer in F30 form at some point. Won't be as good but it'll still be pretty rapid.

Plenty of us in the US would kill for an M3 wagon. I was lazily daydreaming about a full E91 M3 conversion just today... and here this one is for me to enjoy and daydream about some more. Love it.

Well now the E-Class Wagon AMG has nothing to say here, I think.

very cool...i feel the wagon, like the sedan, has some more aggressive curves and angles toward the rear than the coupe does.

The mods look very clean, I'll admit, but I CRINGE when I think of being seen in this thing, let alone the poor e90 that has had serious cosmetic surgery.

It's like turning a f-458 into a sedan....to me its just...why?

Station wagons/Touring Models look very unappealing to my eyes. Esp blowing 5-10K+ (probably) to turn a sleek vehicle into a frumpy odd looking thing.
To each his own though.
I am with you on this one. A touring wagon looks just like an E70 X5 but sits lower to the ground. IMO a touring wagon is a woman's vehicle and something you would typically see them driving. Nothing wrong with that at all.

I am just not a fan at all. I almost bet it would be the over 40 crowd that would like this!
I am 21 and would love to have a M3 touring.

SUV's are great and all but a wagon can haul nearly as much, while driving better and looking lower, sleeker and sexier all at the same time.

But I also tow a trailer with my e46 325i sedan because I refused to buy a truck. And it tows like a champ.
If I had a touring, I would likely only need the trailer on rare occasions.
