I was on the fence between the E90 and E92. The CF roof was just about the reason why I chose the latter.

Here's hoping the F80 and F85/86 (GranCoupe) come with a carbon fiber roof.

I'm so curious as to what labor would cost to install one of these... I think I would learn to live without my sunroof haha. Excited to see the results! Keep us updated

honestly, id choose the carbon roof anyday over the sunroof.... that carbon roof looks soo sexy...

I never understood this either, guess the cost factor to do it won out over looks and functionality. I couldn't find it posted even though I know its somewhere but whats the weight difference between these two roofs in the E90???

Congrats, can't wait to see the results. And I've heard that going from a sunroof to CF roof will net a 40-50lbs savings since you remove the steel roof, sunroof, and motors.

This guy saved over 30lbs just by replacing the glass part of the roof with a CF sheet and ditching the motor.

new windshield from buddy is 360 installed.
rear glass remove and install is 65.
