It's also listed on the 2009 Option sheet.
Thought that BMW NA had this deactivated in U.S. spec due to concerns about legal liability, ie, to avoid being sued by some moron and had an accident while accessing email while driving

I hope my MY09 has this as having stock quotes etc would be I expect this is only accessible while the vehicle is stationary ...

FWIW, my '09 sedan has 615 Online Information Services but does NOT have 616 Online Platform.

Keep us posted V-man - I'd be keen to know this as well.... I thought that BMW Aus had disabled this feature completely... I've asked my dealer for information to see if this is the case or not.

Do you have a date on your car yet?

***Update****

BMW Australia are NOT enabling online services for iDrive... makes me think whether this is something that can be fixed by accessing the backend menu?

you think so, i'm shopping around, there aren't that many around right now... and dealers i've seen are being dicks and barely budging on 09's on the floor.

Very frustrating.

Anybody know if the 2.9% apr special will apply for the 2010 models?
When I ordered my 2010 the salesman says that's only for the 09's. I would have to wait till sept to see if it'll be offered for the 2010's

I just got some insanely surprising good news today. I got off the phone with BMW NA and gave them my prod#. They said my car started production today 8/25 at 7am. I was beyond shocked because I thought the order wouldn't even be submitted till Sept for the 2010 M's. They even gave me my vin#. I am beyond excited. Now I really have to sell my E46 asap!!

I placed my order 2 weeks ago as well. Ran my credit, got approved for a the loan and got my prod# all in that same day. When you call you have to speak to a rep. If you do the automated it'll tell you that its scheduled for prod with no date available. I guess its not as updated so just speak to a rep and they'll get you the most up to date info. Good luck

No prob, so what specs did you get.
I got a 2010 Melbourne Red 6spd, cf roof with no options except black leather. I wanted it as base as possible. I have V3's and LM-R's waiting to go on.

I switched options at least 4-5 times. Went from AW -IB -AW, added premium sound, dropped the sunroof. I think I have it the way I want it now.

Picked up my CSL reps, spacers, VRS diffuser & spoiler, CF grills, roundels & center caps, matte black grills, BMC filter, RPI scoops & painted markers. I hope to get the Venture Shield & tint done before I pick it up. Still gotta get the springs & debating on the exhaust. Can't wait to get the first 1200 miles on it. May take off a couple days work just to drive it.

Check out this link - http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthr...84#post5760884

In it they say online services are available as part of the convenience package.

Lucky you, and congrats!

Thanks bro,
The only thing I can think of is that your dealer didn't submit the order right away?
That could be a possibility. I've been following up everyday. My ETA for completion of production is 9/2. Can't believe it only takes a week to assemble the whole car, that's nuts! Prob will take a couple more weeks for inspection and transport. I'm guessing I'll get it by the end of September. Hope BMFeast will go down this year in Oct. Keep me posted on your order. If you have any question feel free to hit me up.

I drove a Chrysler 300 with the auto lights and was not a fan of it. It was always on-off-on thing. It may have it's place in the country, but in the city it was like a strobe light.
