Software Mod to new E92 M3?
Hey guys,
Just picked up a 2011 E92 M3 about 2K miles ago, and I'm starting to think about software updates for performance. I'm would like to hear from anyone out there who has done "just" an ECU upgrade, and what the effects were? I would be interested in all SW vendors, but I was contemplating the Dinan Carbon intake and their Performance Engine SW: http://www.dinancars.com/shop/D900-4...re.aspx#page=1 Thanks |

Search sucks!
Yeah, I know there are multiple threads already on this subject, but people tend to go off of stupid tangents and the threads turn to crap!
I searched and the returned results we're so bad and confusing that I gave up. So if anyone has a relevant reply to my question, I would really appreciate the help! BTW, I was interested in this ECU update because it looks very well done, any feedback you guys can share??? http://alekshop.com/products/ess_dir...are_bmw_m3_e9x Thanks! |

Just a tune, such as ours, releases a decent amount of power but helps with pickup and engine response. It also importantly removes things like the top speed limiter, can increase rev limit etc. Also the ability to tune from home is a requirement if you aren't near a shop.
