Exactly how is a wheel supposed to "function". This is a serious question. A forged monoblock wheel is light, strong, and hopefully perfectly round, so how is it dysfunctional? What makes Volks and BBS better? Is there something about their construction process that is superior to ADV1?

Yes. Volks are forged on a single press. Look up how they're made. Adv knows they make boutique wheels and that's fine.

There should be many cars with ADV1s that sometimes are driven hard, either on track days, drag strip, rally, spirited mountain driving, etc.
Here are Corvette and M6 with ADV1s drifting on the track:

I'm not lying once i thought about pulling the trigger on a set of their wheels but just a quick thinking threw that idea off.

Do they have a history of making shitty products? Yes.
Did they pulled scumbag moves on people? Yes.
Did they constantly lie about their products? Yes.
Do they have a douchey customer base? Yes.

The most important aspect in my eyes when dealing with suppliers is their reputation. I do not do any sort of dealing with someone who scammed people in the past. The truth is Jordan scammed people, and with buying his wheels i'm declaring that i countenance such act.

Got two set of Volks, TE37SL Black Edition and G25, love them.

If I get an exotic one day, I will either use the OEM wheels or get some BBS FIs.
Cool

I'd replace item #4 (as I don't really care about that), with
Do they have ANY type of real racing experience?

But otherwise, I agree

But they have "cool" vids of thier wheels drifting!!
And lets not forget about that TUV certificate have supposedly have, but the numbers still don't show a proper TUV certificate.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

This is where the big boys play. The uppermost level of competition on four wheels. This here, is the pinnacle of motorsports racing. Now, please do tell where ADV.1, HRE, and these other boutique wheel companies have made a presence? They couldn't even pay their way onto these fields.

Formula 1 - dominated by BBS (Germany/Japan), Enkei (Japan), Rays (Japan), and O.Z. (Italy). Ironic isn't it as these three nations were known as the "Axis of Evil" during WWII =)

DTM dominated by BBS (Germany/Japan), O.Z. (Italy), ATS (Germany):

24hr Lemans dominated by BBS (Germany/Japan), Rays (Japan):

I could go on and on with other Racing Organizations such as JGTC, Aussie V8 Supercar, Superstars touring, etc. This is the major leagues, keep playing with that amateur & poseur rich boy toy flash before function garbage ADV.1. Now onto engineering ADV.1. Can you show the credentials of just one of your lovely staff members with a certifiable background in either automotive, mechanical, materials, metallurgical, or stress analysis engineering? Heck, I'll take an online engineering degree from Mumbai!
