Perhaps "perfection" is subjective.

P.S. I agree with you though (..not that some "kid" ruined it, but that it's "perfect" in its original state.....defined by MY perception of what perfection is). I think the S65 is a gem!

Sounds like an amazing project. I hope it works out well... And maybe, just maybe, have some turbo kits available in the future.
Good luck guys... Great work!

No block sleaving?

If you're planning on boosting into double digits this block has to be sleeved!! Otherwise, you're risking major cylinder wall damage!! Even the guys who are boosting their S63's with superchargers in double digit psi are dong this!! I look forward to seeing this build and wish you guys the best.

Always wondered why there were no e92/93 M's going turbo.

Twins and a V8 like that other M3 engine swap that was done.

I was wondering why no one else was questioning this. The article says there is a start up vid but I see no link to it. Going to the project page doesn't show one either.

Umm, there's no way to do this without ruining the car. The point is to make the power and break records...not to get groceries..

I don't think the tuner had a choice in the matter...?

With all the 900+ hp MKIVs and GT-Rs running around that are capable of being daily driven, I'm not so sure.

Different animals with lots of FI R&D behind them. I guess when you have a big budget, anything is possible!

Great post! As everyone, i was waiting to see who would step up. I don't see an issue with them reaching their goal with a built bottom end, at least not 850hp. Does anyone know what engine control unit they are using for tuning?

Who are you to say they're ruining it? Would you call all M3 owners who supercharge their cars "ruining" them, too?

I am quite excited for this project. I'm more of a turbo fan myself, so finally seeing a turbo kit being put together for our cars is exciting! Can't wait for updates

Really, I thought it was a compression ratio issue?
