Red face So 360 Forged Sent me...

I ordered 20" Mesh 8's as my cruising wheels. Brushed center with chrome lips.

I was promised 9" fronts and 10.5" rears.

I received 8.5" fronts and 11" rears.

Is this a f***ed up setup?

I phoned 360 and they said that 90% of their M3 Setups are the size they sent me But so far I've only heard of one member on here with this setup (Shady1)....

I really don't want to ship them back if they are usable especially since I live in Canada and God knows when I'd ever get the replacements.

Any input? Tire Size recommendations? I cant even Test them Since my 2010 wont be here for another few weeks...
UPDATE: Just Received Rims From 360 Forged In correct sizes...THANKS TO Allain!!!

Eibachs coming in mail...

Thats horrible. However, u will b able to use those sizes. Altho with the rear 11" the front should b 9.5".

But who is to say that the offsets r correct? I mean they did fuk up ur sizes. What makes u think offsets r not as well?

What are the offsets?
Personally, I would send them back or get your money.
Bette yet, demand the proper wheels and don't send those back till you have the rims you actually ordered.

I liked the Mesh 8's and I got them for cheap so ANY input would be helpful not comments about 360 forged...I would like input on the sizing and tire recommendations only PLZ.

Basically they said that they would re-make them for me but they asked if I've tested them on my car. I haven't because it is not here yet. We decided that I could test fit them to make sure they work for me and I could make my decision later on if I didn't like them.

Shady1's car looks good on the setup and he has no complaints.

Unfortunately 360 does not give their offsets.

How did you "get them for cheap"? You posted a thread about 360 screwing up your order and you don't expect comments about them. My input would be send them back till they give you what you ordered. There is no way I would run wheels that are 2.5" different front to back. If you must run these "cheap" wheels then I would do a 255/315 size and the cheapest tires you can find since these wheels are for looks anyways.

You can measure the offsets. Offsets aren't magical numbers made up by the company and proprietary. You just need a straight edge, measuring device, and some math skills to find them.

I was thinking 245 frnt and 305 rear tires for the wheel sizes but Yeah I'll probably send them back. It's just such a hassle being In Canada and dealing with customs and shipping BS.

Should I keep the rears and get 9 or 9.5" fronts? what do y'all think?

I rarely, if ever comment on vendors, because I just don't believe in commenting on businesses you have no experience with, but 360 continues to prove that they are in fact inept at doing business. It blows my mind how they are still in business.

Cheers,

Why on earth do people keep buying products from 360 Forged?

To the OP:

Did YOU order these wheels or not?

If so, then see if it's possible to get a refund.

In the future, try to buy your wheel products from a reputable manufacturer.

they are still in business because people like the OP keep buying their product.

did they tell you they wouldn't give you the offsets when you talked to them on the phone? if so, that is TOTAL BS! what that means to me is that they have no clue what offsets they gave you. they obviously shipped you the wrong rims, so you're going to be really lucky if you can even get these mounted on your ///M

i'd tell you to ask for your money back, but it seems like thats about a 4-6 month process with this company. good luck.

This member has 8.5" fronts and 11" rears. Any comments or thoughts? Is this acceptable?

Lol I hear about this ALL the time. You order 9.5" you get 9", you order 11" you get 10". I don't get it.

Honestly I would ship them back. 11" rears should be accompanied by a minimum 9" front so you can at least put 255's up front.

Ask them for the offsets, if they don't give you it then what kind of wheel company is this? You can't just trust their judgment on which offset looks best on the M3. Some like it flush, some like it poking out, and some like it a bit conservative.

11's in the rear IMO are too big unless you're running a supercharger and 315's. 10.5 is perfect so you can fit 285-305 while 9-9.5 is perfect so you can fit 255-285 in the front. I feel really sorry for you, next time buy a wheel from a company that actually gives you the offsets upfront and when you ask.

Here is my 2 cents ...

If you really like the wheel design and don't really want to deal with sending it back, then just keep them. It is your car and your rims.

Just keep in mind that ...

1. They are not what you ordered.

2. This is the company that you will have to deal with in the future if there is a problem with the wheel or the size of the wheel.

3. I wouldn't run a wheel with a 2.5 inch difference in width.

4. You would have to stretch the rear tires just to run a good set up.

5. You could have picked up my new Advans for half the cost

In the end ... Do what makes you happy

LOL Can't believe you went with something that Jordan Swerdloff is involved in....

Get your money back...

Same thing happened to a couple guys on my Team...

I never knew you needed spacers for wheels "Built" for an Audi RS4...
