If I could afford to have two, I would... C63 daily and M3 (modified) for the track. That would be a GREAT combo.

Gas mileage sucks

I'm averaging about 19.5L/100 km in the city (only city).

Just noticed you had 2 M3's as well.

How does the ergonomics and daily use of phone, nav and seat comfort compare to the M? I figured the gas mileage was going to suck lol.

No doubt it would be nice to have both. I went to the track yesterday and I wake up today hung over to several inches of snow!

I find the interior and "features" of the C63 to be better than the M3 and seat comfort to be similar (although I like the seats of the C63 more). The C63 is a little firmer than the M3 suspension wise when the M3 is in comfort mode... closer to the M3 in normal mode... maybe even a tad firmer. The M3 is much more sedate around town than the C63 if that makes a difference. The M3 is quieter (the M3 is very quiet relative to engine and exhaust sound) unless you are winding it out where the C63 has an addictive exhaust rumble. It isn't obtrusive at all (less obtrusive than the Akrapovic exhaust I had on my M3) but it is there whereas the M3 is relatively quiet. Wind/road noise on the C63 is a little better but they are both close.

Personal preference as to which is better IMO. Both are amazing cars and I love both.

OK... so I caved and put the 19" wheels on and went back for another picture. I love the 19s and Michelin PSS!!

Driven both cars, the C63 Sedan with performance package and the M3 coupe. Im going with the M3 but its been a close call - mainly because i have fond memories of my old BMWs.

Its surprising how much of a difference the performance package made on the Merc for me in terms of feel.

Great car(s)!

I can't wait till they put the twin turbo engine in the C63... That would be a kickass combo!

Gray on the C63. One of the best sounding stock exhausts!

Now we are talking! . Most likely somebody forgot to put the calipers on the M3 . Kidding, both are awesome cars and you are lucky to have owned both!

Is the depreciation on the C63 worse than the E92 M3? I feel like I took a beating on this car depreciation wise.

M3 is not dated looking at all, looks much sleeker, but there is no denying the sheer force of that engine. Nice pics!

Hi Heath! I had to laugh that you swapped the wheel setups and returned for a second photo!!! Hope all's well over there. Enjoy the PSS!

I have no idea. I would expect the M3 to hold its value as well or better. The only thing helping the .C63 is that there are way less of them.

I think you have restored the balance in the universe of m3s to c63s. Here's a pic of the opposite switch I made last october!

Depreciation on MB AMG cars has traditionally been brutal.

conversly, I've observed C63s have slower depreciation than M3 on a comparable sticker price. I think in general, in the short term, the market for these cars will retain it's current value fairly well. I think enthuists really value the NA V8s in both cars.

I can see the upcoming turbo engines in the MB and BMW as not as highly coveted. Then again, you can never tell, who will pick a E60 M5 over the F10 M5? Not I.

the m3 is a nice looking for considering its age...but it looks so dated sitting next to your new car. Hurts to say this but im counting down the days to trade her in as well.
