M3 thirst...

For Oil....

Not concerned about how much mine drinks seems to be within guidelines (1.5l in 3,000 miles) but never had a car that's designed to do this, something to do with it being a race engine..

Euro Car Parts are doing one of their web deals on oil this month, makes a 4l Castrol Edge 10/60 £28.. Bargain

Anything that avoids another trip to the dealers and their £22 charge for a litre sounds good to me!

Good find.

As the mileage increases it's thirst for oil decreases. I'm nearing 50k now and its used hardly any oil since its service 5,000 miles ago.

Really? Then the only explanation is that my driving style has subconsciously evolved from reving the crap of it into relaxed crusing.

I better start driving it properly again!

Mine needs to be topped off every few thousand miles. Luckily the dealer doesn't mind doing it for free.

Assume you've bought the service package with the car?

If not could be another example of 'proper' customer service in the States..
