2013 Interlagos Blue M3 - ZCP - ZPP

Hello fellow enthusiasts, i just yesterday picked up my 2013 M3 in Interlagos Blue from the dealership. Ordered this bad boy about 2.5 months ago. Got it just the way i wanted and had the performance spoiler added at the factory. Its basically fully loaded with the exception of DCT and CF roof.

This morning i got up and installed the IND color match reflector and Lux V3 angel eyes. After that i went for a nice long drive and stopped to take a few pics. Sorry if shes a little dirty.. it rained last night.

Nice Bro,Looks beautiful. Reminds me of mine when i got it. Lets break it in right and slap an ESS kit on it

I loved my interlagos M5, great color! Looks very sporty and well optioned! Are you sure the dealer didn't put that spoiler on for you before you took delivery? I was told on my order that all those accessories have to be purchased/installed at the dealership?

It's usually done at the port but in this case it was done in the factory. They even gave me a new window sticker price with the cf spoiler added.

Yeah the wait was awful. Especially the last week or so following the ship it was on.

I absolutely love it. Wouldnt have it any other way. The performance spoiler gives it a more aggressive look IMO. Go for it!

Originally i figured the dealer would do it also. Because of that, i spoke with their parts department seeing if i could by the performance spoiler at a discounted rate. BMW of Greenwich offers new owners a discount on all accessories. The Parts guy told me that the CF spoiler was back ordered till mid March. He said the port is usually where that gets installed and they have no inventory either.

This obviously made me concerned and i checked with my sales rep who said this is different. My CF spoiler was submitted with the production of my car. Sure enough yesterday when the car arrived.. it was already there.

I think in most cases you are correct it is done by the dealer or at the port.

But seriously, any tips or advice on the V3 install would be great! I gave up after 20min and the skin off of my knuckles. Sigh.
