Nice. That looks really nice.

Wish I could build one that high without incurring fines and daily beatings from the government.

Thanks! Where are you located? Is it a city municipal thing or HOA thing?

If city, that is unfortunate. I know generally here in TX, you can go up to 12ft if not higher! But the HOA and subdivision are usually the ones causing the restrictions.

If his info is accurate, he's in Bulgaria. I don't think HOAs really exist over there (having been there and being married to a Bulgarian). Though you could typically bribe your way to whatever you want to accomplish, as is the case in many countries outside the US/Canada.

Why would you get fined and receive daily beatings? Here (at least in Texas), you have to pull permits for certain projects although I doubt OP did for his fence. But in other countries, you probably do.

I think he's in another country.

No special permits other than the workers being current with their licensing, insurance, for liability.

We are considering a move within the next 2yrs (sooner if the perfect home presents itself) and I had a realtor friend come by along with her appraiser friend. The fence along with the remodel we performed converting our formal living and dining area into a Lounge has added in their estimates, $18k of value. Although I paid @ $9k out of pocket.
Just completed a complete makeover of our Master Bedroom and next up, the Master Bath.

Don't need a fence if running naked with a shotgun

Might need a surgeon to reattach portions of anatomy if ATF recommends the wrong whiskey with said shotgun shells.

Is your listed location of Iowa correct? My uncle's 4500 near Wiota that looks like a freaking southern plantation house was about 200K, although that was a few years ago.

Great fence!

Were you able to make your neighbor (or Mexico) pay for it?
