Swissvax'ed: New 2011 Melbourne Red BMW E92 M3 ZCP

This detail was a new car prep for a week-old Melbourne Red E92 M3 Competition Package. The owner picked the car up from the dealer and was not happy at all with all the swirl marks left from the "new car prep" at the dealer.

The owner wanted to get the car looking like it should have the day he picked it up, and with a coat of Swissvax on the paint. This car required Swissvax Cleaner Fluid Strong on the hood and trunk, and got a single stage polish on the rest of the car with Swissvax Cleaner Fluid Professional and a Swissvax FINE Pad. The car was then finished off with Swissvax Blau-Weiss.

We did not do any work to the interior or engine bay.

The car was dropped off around 8am and finished around 6pm.

Products Used:

-Swissvax Car Bath
-Swissvax Paint Rubber (Green)
-Swissvax Seal Feed
-Swissvax Protecton
-Swissvax Quick Finish
-Swissvax Nano Express
-Swissvax Cleaner Fluid Strong w/ Orange Swissvax pad
-Swissvax Cleaner Fluid Professional w/ Swissvax Fine pad
-FESTOOL Shinex RAP150 Rotary
-Swissvax Blau-Weiss BMW Wax
-Swissvax Cleaner Fluid Regular
-Swissvax Autobahn (wheels)
-rain-x
-Sonax Full Effect
-1Z Glass Cleaner
-1Z Rubber Care (Tires)

and some more...

Now onto the before pictures...

The owner had washed the car a few days before bringing it to me, so it was not so dirty to begin with...

even a new car needs to be clayed! this shot is after doing 1/2 of the carbon fiber roof.

And the finished pictures!

remember, no work was done to the interior, but it was worthy of a picture...

and new stickers for Swissvax Customers!

That's all for that one,

Thanks for looking!
Dom

This is my car that Dominic detailed for me and as you can all see, he did an amazing job.

A few notes though:

1) The car is Melbourne Red, not Imola Red. Sorry for the confusion.
2) Dominic is quite modest. Here is a before picture of my hood as it was delivered by my dealer:

Here is the same hood after Dominic polished and waxed it:

I saw a few swirls when I picked up the car but nothing major. Howver, after I washed it, I took the before picture and I was quite pissed to say the least. Dominic assured me it was an easy fix and he could take care of it. I would say that was a severe understatement. I couldn't be happier. Thanks Dominic.

Dominic does miracles with the paint. My 2011 Interlagos Blue M3 came with some scratches on the hood from shipping, so imagine how pissed and sad I was at the same time. He polished the scratches right out, and now my hood is perfect. I Recommend him to anyone!

K3:

Thanks. That is a BMW Performance carbon fiber spoiler that was painted by IND. Talk to Nate at IND and he will hook you up.
