OEM muffler fit in Coupe trunk?
Anyone know if the OEM muffler will fit into the coupe trunk even with the back seats folded down? I'm going quite far away to pick one up and wants to know if it'll fit in my car before going there.

Yes it will. Drove with mine for 250 miles when I purchased the car. Wrap the ends with towels. No damage to the interior. Actually it was my X-Pipe. I do not know the answer on the OEM muffler.

Roastbeef may be saying that both will fit at one time.
OP, I just want to be clear as I jumped the gun on your original post. I transported a stock OEM X-Pipe only. I did not transport the OEM muffler. If you are asking if the muffler and X-Pipe will fit at one time I do not know the answer to that although I would think if you put the muffler in first, the X-Pipe can go in after and rest it on it. But, as has been mentioned, blankets or towels. Braheem, the forum member who sold me the car had the X-Pipe all wrapped up nicely in towels. He even taped it up to make sure it couldn't unwrap. The X-Pipe will sit on the front arm rest. One scratch and you will be pissed I am sure. Lastly, if the muffler is still connected to the X-Pipe then there is no way that is happening. |

I have only carried the xpipe in the car and the back of it extends to rest on top of the center arm rest.
There was enough room for the muffler to sit on top of it.
