What's up with the stock BLACK M3 wheels that are on the white car in the background (image 12eg6.jpg)? The red car has them too I think. Is that an option? Also, the hump of the navigation screen looks pretty bad in my opinion (another reason for me not to get it)...

Thanks for the post...
Perhaps I haven't been paying attention, but this is the first I have heard of a Touring version... |

Hey, what is the color in picture ?4 or 27423828ob3.jpg. I saw the real magazine, and this black doesn't look like black. It's more like dark blue, maybe it's monaco blue, I'm not sure. Anyway, this is really great one, I liked it so much. Thanks for scanning!

That's probably Jerez Black, the first time this colour has been seen in a photograph, and not on the online configurator.

Oh yes, It could be Jerez Black, cause it has some blue tones in it.... But, on paper this color look slighty different, or, it's just could be my display. I've never been a fan of black colors, but this is really great one.

Just finished reading the article.
A couple of things that are a bit troublesome to me... The new M3's are not being built on their own line like they used to be but rather on the same line as regular 3ers in Regensberg. The rasp is still present.

I wouldn't get too hung up on BMW using mass assembly lines. You will probably get higher quality and consistency. M3's are not different from regular 3's when you bolt stuff together. The BMW production lines are top notch.
