If you are talking about the fluid leaking from the reservoir tank, then a long black zip tie and a blue shop towel around the cap keep the mess in check. Make sure you keep that tank at least half full - BTW it takes special fluid, not normal PS fluid.

If it's leaking from somewhere else, that not a good sign. I recently replaces a PS rack...ug.

There was a guy, who was selling those kits on one forum. I bought it from him, so I don't know the exact numbers. If you want, I can ask him for his email address. I don't know if he ships to the US.

Yeah me too! Very interested! I didn't know they made this. BMW should have already included this. Thanks!

All current production BMWs are using the new reservoir (sans M3). The new unit has a slightly improved venting system.

Here's a shot of the revised version on my M3, which sees regular track use.

I have it narrowed down to a BMW motorcycle rear brake fluid reservoir. Hose/fitting is just a vaccum line. Maybe battery vent tube will work too.

Found it, from the F650GS. Has the mounting ear too. Part number 34217706055

Vaccum line: 11727545323 (1meter)

Straight or 90 degree connector/fitting : from local auto parts store

Should, it's a very common part.

A hose adapter will be needed for the bottom outlet, as its a bit larger than the M3's.

Sorry for the late reply, but I was quite busy the last days. I saw the part numbers, which you found seem to be the right ones. You have to be careful with width of the 90 degree connector. Mine fits perfectly with a little oil on it.

I've used zip tie for the installation. I'll take a photo tomorrow.
