Cresson with BMWCCA
Who has done Cresson with BMWCCA? Can I load in the evening before? Where do you grab lunch?

Have to unload each morning and clear out each evening as far as I've seen but I've never got there before the gates open. There's a Subway close by fwiw.

Check with them, you may be able to leave your car and trailer there overnight. I'm just relating what I've seen and I don't have a trailered car.

I don't think they lock the gates. I've jogged the track at 8pm before. I've always left my stuff at the track and walked to the BW. Lately I've been staying at the Hampton Inn at Cleburne.

Best Western right across the track is where many stay. Might be able to find cheaper in Granbury or Benbrook, but the convenience alone is worth a few bucks more per night. There is a Subway right across the road. The BBQ place at the Texaco right out front is good but only open Saturdays. There is an awesome Tex Mex place in Godley (about 10 miles south)...could be doable for a lunch run assuming you have a few hours between run groups. No race group at this event...racers are with NASA that weekend at TWS. |

There's an awesome taco truck near the Shell station Sat morning. Kind of SOL Sundays. Sonic is the only choice close to the track unless you eat stuff from one of the gas stations.

Yeah it was the place from Godley there for about 6 months, maybe a year. Then the BBQ place moved in. That has been at least 2-3 years now. In fact, if you were watching the college football game that started last year at Cowboy stadium (LSU vs ???)- they did a segment from that BBQ place.

You can unload the night before
I spoke to the MSRC management who verified that you can arrive the night before. Actually, he said they never lock the gate so you can always get in.

Be careful if you pull in when its dark. They have those dam trash drums everywhere in the middle of the pavement. Its pitch black and you'll miss them when you turn into them where everyone parks on near the grass.
Then be careful whenever you back up too. I've hit one before.
