The latter is classic example exhibited among beginner/beg-intermediate drivers. Gotta learn to 'slow in fast out' and trail brake effectively so as not to push the front tires thru corners.
i would like to think im far from a beginner as i have been pretty successful in open class but there are still alot of areas that can use improvement... the day you stop learning is the day you should probably get out of the car

And stiffening up your rear shocks will only make the problem worse.

I think about -2.5 is the sweet spot for NT01s on an E9X.

I did. But this car is stripped and caged with the shock towers reinforced. The cage is extended into the engine bay connecting to the shock towers plus there is a plate welded to the top of the shock tower. I can't remember how much neg camber we could get before cutting but got -4.4 after. We may back down closer to -4.0 (remember this is an e46 M3)

Same here I suggest a little more front camber. I run 2.7 front and 2.0 rear. only understeered with bad inputs on turn 2 at laguna. i'm on street compound
