New suspension
I'm considering upgrading my suspension to the KW Clubsport or the JRZ RS1. Is one system recommended over the other? I believe they both come with camber plates. the complete kits with dampers, springs and camber plates.
Thanks for any info provided. |

KW Clubsport is the most common, tried, and true option for the M3. JRZ makes great products and I don't think you can go wrong with either option.

JRZ or MCS dampers. Each damping adjustment has a noticeable effect on handling/balance. Good street manners even with track-biased spring rates.

Are we talking about the 2 ways or the 1 way? Including camber plates, etc etc An apples to apples comparison vs the KW CS 2 ways PS: I like that your wife drives a E92 M with JRZ suspension!! |

+1 on the MCS 1-ways.
I would caution against the JRZ RS-1 dampers. Though JRZ is highly regarded they have had problems with the RS-1 struts, including the set I had on my car. They were excellent for 9-10 months but the fronts got progressively stiffer and noisier. Interestingly, BW only noticed problems with 1M's even though they use the same unit as for the M3. You'll notice BW doesn't sell the RS-1's anymore also. Though JRZ USA was willing to handle my warranty claim JRZ Ned was not and I ended up with the MCS units. Props to BW for stepping in and taking care of me.

I am going with MCS 2-way non-reservoir dampers.

I disagree. JRZ and MCS dampers have improved ride qualities over the stock suspension, even with track-biased spring rates. I'd recommend them for street-only and track-only setups.

CS or JRZ
IMO KW Clubsports is a great suspension for both track and DD out of the cereal box. Plus, it's quiet. I've had both the new and old version. I currently have the JRZ RS w/ Swift Springs, GC arms etc, etc. Suspension that you need to piece together according to your application or liking. My major complaint is that it's noisy and I'm not alone on this. JRZ two-way dampers have a little more setting to choose from but performs just as great as the KW CS. I switch because I just wanted to try something different. GL

My setup is this. Been very happy. Very noticeable a on couple clocks up/down on comp/rebound. Great customer service from the manufacturer. Lex actually called me few times to discuss couple things after I installed them ran them at the track.

Suspension
I made an error on my post above. It's not my JRZ RS dampers that are making noise but my GC sway bar end links that are making noises. Someone I know have used silicone and grease to make the noise go away but it comes back after a few months.
