335i snow/wheels tires swap to M3?

I have a '08 335i and am looking at buying an '09 M3. I use a 17" snow wheel/tire package for the winter. I bought the wheels from Tire Rack; they're some off brand. Since they fit my 335i fine, would they fit an E92 M3 as well? I'm guessing yes, but need to know for sure. I searched and couldn't find an anything in here. Thanks.

They wont fit. 17's are too small for the brakes/rotors.

I don't think you can run 3 series 17" wheels on a M. The wheel may not clear the rotors or calipers.

I have 18" winter setup and I need to get pretty big spacers to make them work. I doubt you can use them. Sorry

I just heard that TPMS sensors from 2009 will not work with 2011?
Is this true? If so is anyone interested in a staggered set maybe for an M Sport or something. Between spacers and TPMS I may just get a new set and sell the old ones

Dammit. I didn't even think about the M's larger rotors. Hell, 17" wheels are tight on my 335. Thanks, guys.

True, TPMS changed in 2010.
