Nitrous on M3

So only one person "mikewards" was crazy enough to run nitrous on his M3? I am thinking about doing this.

Any information's on setups?

PM hotrod182. He's (relatively) close to you and has been using nitrous on BMW's for a while and could provide you with good insights into the type of kit/jets and tuning.

Nitrous is very safe and reliable if set up properly.

I just can't warm up to NOS. I hate the idea of it in any engine, including big block chevys and such. I also prefer to have power all the time, just not worth it in imo. Unless you're really hell bent on drag racing an m3

It's great when used to cool off intake temps, or used to spray the intercooler.

Everyone that knows me I am pro-Nitrous, but not in a V8 M3, with aluminum everywhere. Too many things that can go wrong VERY quickly.

I use meth to cool things down and for the octane bump. Look up the Vishnu meth kit.

Mikewads might have had a crazy M3, but his GT-R makes 1019whp!!! Not only that, he built that engine himself!

If it can handle boost from a blower than nos should be just fine.
