Got it - missed the "buy during winter..." the first time!
Which stock wheels do you have - 18", 19" non-zcp, 19" zcp? I believe the 19" non-zcp are the lightest stock wheels because they are the only forged wheel. Stock wheels weigh between approximately 24-26 lb. If you go with 20" wheels you'll end up with a fairly heavy wheel plus 20" tires tend to weigh more as well so your wheel-tire package is going to be heavy. Are you looking for better performance or looks? Do you plan on ever tracking your car? |

Yeah, the problem with wheels is everyone's taste in wheel design/style is different. Do you want a lighter wheel with a similar style to your zcp or a wheel with a completely different look? How much are you willing to spend? When I asked about performance that could either be a dedicated track wheel (most likely 18" because of track tires) or a 19" lightweight wheel for street use. A favorite wheel of mine is the Forgeline ZX3R in 19" (Forgeline has been around a long time and many professional race teams use their wheels). The ZX3R would be an excellent choice for the street in 19" and the track in 18". They've released a few new "competition" wheel designs recently plus they have a large selection of street wheels. The Volk G12 is a nice looking wheel, and if you like HRE then either the P40S or P43S are nice - however, not sure if you'll like any of these except for perhaps the P40S. |

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

As for color, I think a matte dark gray/charcoal or black finish looks great on AW! If you go with a three-piece wheels definitely get the outer rim half painted/powdercoated the same color as the wheel center. #1 wheel Co - that's going to be subjective because everyone has their own favorite brand. Personally, I'd go with one of the following brands, in no particular order: Volk, HRE, BBS, Forgeline or DPE Good luck! |

I've had d2forged wheels for close to a year and a half now and I have no issues at all with them. They are strong, have aggressive fitment and drive like stock. I strongly recommend them.
