DMV Cars & Coffee

Katie's coffee house

Saturday mornings 6:30-9:30 AM

760 walker road Great Falls, Virginia 22066

Haven't been seeing too many M3's recently. Last weekend there was around 15 GTR's. There was a HUGE turnout last weekend, let's try to keep it going through the holiday season! You guys should all come out this weekend, bring your families!

Turnout in the winter is obviously a lot less than summer. As long as it's dry, a fair amount of people go. This morning, though, with snow/ice/subfreezing, there was an RS4, a new S6, and a Hummer. Nothing else. A few people brought their pick up trucks, etc.

I was hoping the warm weather would bring out some cars tomorrow... Although the rain will probably drive them away

On Sundays at ~9:00 am at the Kohl's in Fair Lakes. It's not as big as Katie's, but it does start later.

Yeah except it's one of the lamest meets you can go to. Bunch of stuck up/insecure circle jerkers who pretend not to even notice you. The only meets I go to are BALLSton Boyz meets (aka the meets I set up).

Speaking of which I better see your ass this Friday at Rose Kabob for our M3Post/BALLSton Bros meet-ing. I'm flying back early from Atlanta to attend it.

I would say the turnout is about half that of Katie's.

Yeah, I know a guy at the local jag dealer and he usual brings something cool out. The turnout isn't as big but as long as it isn't raining and it's above freezing a decent amount of cars go. If the weather is ever above 40 you can expect a huge turnout.

The guys at the Audi HQ usually bring something cool out as well. Last time they brought out an RS7.

I thought that was at Rockville C&C? I haven't gone to either in a while so I'm not sure

Audi HQ is in Herndon, about 10 min from Katie's. They definitely bring a lot of stuff to Katie's.

Yeah, it actually got some favorable feedback there. But it won't be sold in the US.

They also brought RS5 before it was out, RS4 avant (B8), some super VW beetles, etc. one day they brought out S4,S6,and S8 and parked them all next to each other. It is nice to have them local!
