Would you say you are an intermediate driver then? If so I would say take all the instruction you can given your experience and that it is a new track for you. Heck I pay for private coaching as often as I can.

PIR this saturday to hang out with eddie and greg and then ridge on the 10th and 11th, possibly 19th as well for charity day.

The 19th is a charity day for good times camp for kids with cancer. Santo member on here has raised almost 9000 himself for the kids. Last week I had the chance to let a few sit in my car and monkey around. Very cool and worthy cause. I will be driving along with santo. Many items will be auctioned off during the day. The track is also actually donated for the day so all entry fees go to the kids.

I want to stay local with this sale... which is why I thought I'd post it here vs. the FS section.

Anyone interested in my set of 18x10 EC-7 ET25 Satin Black Apex Wheels? I used these my track setup this year. There is a slight curb rash on one of the wheels but otherwise they're in great condition. I have one track season on them. I will also throw in a set of NT01 that are mounted on them.. there's about about 1-2 trackdays left on the tires..

Will make for a great track setup for someone local for next season..

$600 ... (Brand new this set is $1380 shipped).

I will post pics soon but I thought I'd post this up now to see if there's any interest.

Today was totally ruined due to a crappy 1980s civic shit-box dropping oil from turn 9 through turn 8 - yes - that is the whole bloody track in oil! and on top of it - it was the *first* session!!

Watch the mini in front of me spin; and then I had absolutely zero traction through 5A and 5B.. like ice! Watch my steering after 5A..

I packed it in and came home early that day.. my risk threshold isn't high enough to mix oil and rain.

Any car that looks like a turd needs a special tech inspection.. this is the third time I've seen a crappy 1980s civic boy racer dump oil on the track and ruin everyone's day..

You had a few strikes against you:
Pacific in the wet
oil on the track
cones on the track

I'll be up to the Ridge at some point. I have to take the car down for awhile for a custom wiring harness, radiator and oil cooler. If I'm lucky some more go fast parts

I just got back from two days at Thunderhill! What a great track.....HOD ran both days no point open track in the advanced group. I just bought a new GoPro so hopefully I caught some good footage.

Wow oil and rain at PR is seriously bad news. This just echos my concerns with the winter tracks days at PR last year. It's cheap, they pretty much let anyone come out, and they don't throw out the bad eggs. On another note, I bet that Z06 is fun.

Winter days aren't that bad.. it was just the timing and magnitude that was depressing... I plan to do more winter days, especially with Tom @ the Ridge.

The Z06 is amazing and I'm gearing up to do a full detailed write up soon but I haven't really driven it in anger at the track yet so I'm itching to get to a sunny trackday.
